A program for music score engraving which uses a simple text notation for music input, similar to how Latex works for preparing documents

A website that provides free music sheet (mainly classical music because they don’t have copyright issues)

1. How to bold face lower case Greek letters in Latex

 

In Latex \mathbf command doesn’t apply to lower case Greek letters.

 

One solution is to use the ‘bm’ package. Add the following line to the beginning of the document:

 

\usepackage{bm}

 

Then to use that in the document, do this:

\bm{your_mathsymbol}

2. Another thing I learnt today about integral sign is:

 

\int\limits^{1}_{0} will place the limits of an integral to be above and below the integral sign

 

But \int^{1}_{0} will place the limits of an integral to be to the side of the integral sign
